housed our treasures.
The building is unique in
appearance, has a dome in the center and represents an original 60's landmark by
William Appleby, one of Oklahoma's famous architects.
The approximately 3500 sf structure was originally
designed to house the central Southwestern Bell Phone Co. switching facility.
Hence, it is created to withstand tornados, earthquakes and other disasters to a
high degree. It is a steel reinforced concrete building and even houses a
walk-in vault.
With it's location right on the
end of town, next to highway 183 (a major trucking route), ample parking, across
a gas station, it lends itself to a variety of uses, such as:
